JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC is a simple injectable treatment performed in our office.
This dermal filler is made of hyaluronic acid (HA), which the body produces naturally. Your injecting specialist will insert this product strategically along the jawline to contour your jaw and create a balanced, more aesthetically pleasing silhouette.
Combination Treatments
JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC can produce ideal results on its own. However, some women and men choose to combine this filler with other facial rejuvenation procedures, such as:

What Are Your Concerns About JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC?
Recovery
JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC has minimal to no downtime. You may return to your normal activities, including work, immediately following your treatment.
Some patients experience temporary swelling, bruising, pain, discomfort, numbness, redness, or hardness in the treatment areas. These should subside within a few days.
Scars
One of the best aspects of JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC is that it is an injectable procedure. Therefore, you will not develop any scarring.
Cost
The cost of JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC varies depending on factors like how many injections you need and other treatments you are undergoing simultaneously.

Pain
JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC contains lidocaine, and most patients do not require any additional anesthetic. You may feel a slight burning sensation in the injected area, which should subside within 15 minutes.
Frequently Asked Questions About JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC
Most patients receive an initial injection series and a “follow-up” series of two to four vials of JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC. Some patients will need a third set of injections; however, repeated injections often require a lower filler volume.
Ask your injection expert what you can expect during your consultation.
It may take several weeks to see your final result from JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC. However, you should immediately see an improvement in your jawline, including a more sculpted look.
It should take 15 to 20 minutes to complete your JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC session.
In studies, greater than 80% of JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC users still saw results at 12 months. After that time, you may wish to have another series of JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC treatments.
