The Bonaldi Aesthetics is thrilled to offer the world’s first and only hybrid fractional laser, the Sciton® Halo™. This new technology is the latest innovation in laser skin resurfacing with the advantage of dual ablative and non-ablative settings to provide complete customization.
Accomplished With Halo™:
- Improvement of sun spots, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone and texture
- Minimization of deeper wrinkles and creases on the face
- Reduction in the appearance of acne scars and large pores
Advantages of Halo™:
- Fully customizable
- Minimally invasive
- Treats a variety of skin concerns
- Effective on all skin types
Other options for laser skin resurfacing are either ablative or non-ablative devices, but the Sciton® Halo™ offers both options to create complete customization while minimizing downtime. In one session, the Sciton® Halo™ allows your certified laser technician to address mild concerns on the surface of the skin along with more severe concerns deeper in the dermis. The system determines the exact level of energy required to safely treat all levels of skin damage to provide the most precise and comprehensive results. This device is perfect for patients who have varying degrees of skin damage or several different concerns on multiple areas of the face.
How many treatments of Halo™ will I need?
One treatment with Halo™ may be all you need to get the results you desire. Your technician may recommend more treatments depending on the areas treated and your goals.
What areas can Halo™ treat?
While the most common choice for improvement with Halo™ is the face, the device also improves the skin of the neck, décolletage, and hands.
What can I expect during treatment with Halo™?
Your skin will be evaluated before treatment to determine if Halo™ is the best option to meet your needs. During your treatment, a mild numbing agent will be applied followed by adjustment of the settings to accommodate your specific skin type. Most patients feel a warm sensation as the laser is applied, which will last throughout treatment and about 30 minutes following treatment. The Halo™ applicator monitors the temperature of your skin during the process to ensure you are comfortable. The entire treatment from start to finish will last about three hours.
How extensive is recovery?
Downtime from Halo™ is minimal. Patients typically experience slight redness and swelling for about five days. The skin begins to flake by day three or four and will soon reveal a healthy, glowing complexion.
When will I see results?
Most patients see results seven days after their initial treatment. Your skin will continue to improve over the next couple of months as new collagen forms.
