Dr. Bonaldi will slightly lift and tighten the skin and muscles to correct sagging jowls and wrinkles and creases in the lower face. He will also combine facial fat grafting to create a more youthful look. Because it is a less-invasive procedure, it has minimal downtime. Afterward, you will have fewer wrinkles, noticeably smoother skin, and a rejuvenated appearance.
Monogram Lift
The Monogram Lift was developed by Dr. Bonaldi for patients who have sagging skin along the jawline and neck. Dr. Bonaldi will make an inconspicuous incision along the hairline, and through this incision, he will lift the tissues of the lower face and neck. Dr. Bonaldi will also combine facial fat grafting and other minor procedures such as an eyelid lift or brow lift to create a more youthful look.
Signature Lift
For the most comprehensive experience, Dr. Bonaldi performs his Signature Lift. Designed for patients with noticeable neck fat and muscle banding, this procedure includes incisions in the hairline and an incision under the chin. Dr. Bonaldi will also combine facial fat grafting, a brow lift, an eyelid lift, and other procedures as necessary to fully treat each facial area that has been affected by aging. The Signature Lift produces natural-looking results to help you to look younger and more refreshed.

Addressing Your Concerns
Recovery
After your facelift, have a companion drive you home and stay with you for one or two days. You may experience some discomfort for the first few days. Any swelling or bruising will subside within two weeks. You should be able to return to work within one to two weeks. Dr. Bonaldi will give you more personal recommendations to help your recovery go quickly and smoothly.
Scars
Because facelift surgery requires incisions, there will be some scarring. However, Dr. Bonaldi hides the incisions within the hairline so that any scarring is as inconspicuous as possible. Patients who undergo Dr. Bonaldi’s Signature Lift will also have a scar underneath the chin. All scarring will lighten over time.
Cost
The cost of your facelift will depend on the type you receive. The surgeon’s experience and expertise, operational expenses, facility costs, anesthesia fees, and geographical location will affect the cost of your procedure.
Pain
Some patients may experience minor pain or discomfort for a few days after surgery. Dr. Bonaldi will prescribe medication to manage any discomfort during this time.
Frequently Asked Questions About Facelift Surgery
Facelift patients are usually in their 40s to 80s. In some cases, patients younger or older than this may qualify for the procedure. For older patients, good skin quality will be necessary to ensure that the desired results are possible.
At least two weeks before surgery, patients should discontinue smoking and taking certain medications or supplements according to Dr. Bonaldi’s personal instructions. Plan ahead for your recovery period by scheduling time off work, preparing meals, and having a friend or family member plan to drive you home and be with you after your procedure. All other recommendations will be given to you personally at your consultation.
Depending on whether you are receiving the Bonaldi Aesthetic Lift, the Monogram Lift, or the Signature Lift, your procedure may last approximately one to four hours. Where more extensive correction is needed, the surgery will take longer.
With each technique, the incisions are hidden within the hairline. They will run from the hairline at the temples down to the back of the head, ending in the lower scalp. For patients receiving the Signature Lift, there will also be an incision beneath the chin.
Most of your results will be visible six months after surgery. Patients may continue to see subtle changes for up to one year after the procedure.
Follow Dr. Bonaldi’s instructions carefully both before and after surgery to achieve the best results with your procedure. Avoid direct sun exposure, and if you must go out in the sun, wear sunscreen and a hat to protect your face after your facelift surgery.
